Belly Dance and Journaling for Transformation

In every Belly Dance class, we move our passions and emotions through our bodies while learning intricate belly dance isolations/combinations to unleash our inner lusciousness and optimal potential. We will heal our hips, turn pain to love, and step into our power. Then we will write about our journey! At the end of every class, Marci Darling will give a writing prompt to explore our inner landscapes in the afterglow of the ancient wisdom of belly dance.

During this time in a chaotic and tumultuous world, belly dance and writing will ignite our own inner light to guide our way through the darkness, leading us to the source of our greatest power: our hearts.

Whether our hearts are broken, shattered, or just looking for an injection of magic, belly dance and writing can light the way. We will dance! We will laugh! We will love! We will write!

All levels welcome! No belly dance or writing experience is necessary. Maybe you have never written in a journal before or you love to journal, but haven’t had a consistent practice, this class is the time you carve out each week for yourself.

“We do not escape into philosophy, psychology, and art–we go there to restore our shattered selves into whole ones.”
