One of my all time favorite shops on the North Shore for one-of-a-kind fashion statements is Modern Millie’s in Salem. Named after that effervescent flapper, Millie, the shop is filled with retro fashions alongside some designer-wear. (I myself have consigned bejeweled Jimmy Choo kitten heels and Chanel wedges here.) The accessories are outrageous fun–sparkling pink kitty cat rings, peacock necklaces, enormous flowers for your hair, cat eye sunglasses… you get the idea. Whether you want a floor-length chiffon gown or a vintage fur hat, this is the place you’d find it!
