Faulkner House—Joe LaSalle, the adorable proprietor who lives in the house, is a professor of English (of course) and runs the Words and Music Fest. Everything you want a French Quarter theater to be—sparkly chandeliers, fabulous décor, a bar in the lobby, and haunted!!! Le Petit Theater is right in the heart of the Quarter across from St. Louis Cathedral. It’s an amazing place to see a show—very glamorous, even the children’s side. For sheer pomp and glamour, you can’t beat this stunning cathedral. Standing sentry over the French Quarter for hundreds of years, this is one building I really wish could talk! It is surrounded by the first apartment buildings every built in this country, the Pontalba buildings, and overlooks the Quarter and the Mississippi.
